"You're not helping your case," Xaven told her. "It's getting harder by the second not to just fuck you now the way I know you want me to. Hard and fast and merciless until you're begging for more. And you need to be a lot more specific in what you want."

"Your cock," Eleya breathed, her eyes squeezed shut. "I can take it. I don't care if it hurts. I want you to fuck me now, I need you –"

Xaven pulled away from her. Eleya yelped when she was flipped on the sheets like she weighed nothing, exposing her backside to her fated. Xaven pulled her up on all fours, against him and his hard cock.

Eleya moaned when the huge cock pressed against her entrance. She knew she was nowhere near prepared for a cock that large, but it didn't matter. She needed her fated in her so badly it ached not to be filled by him.

The sharp tinge of pain was present when Xaven carefully pushed himself inside. That didn't stop Eleya from pushing back, her fingers clutching the sheets, panting.

"Gods, yes," she moaned. "Deeper! I want you as deep inside me as you can go. I want all of you."

Xaven didn't reply. The deep grunt signaled that he'd heard her. Eleya sobbed in need when the warrior slid his hand between her legs, bent down over her, running his wet finger over her clit, massaging the delicate spot. She rubbed herself shamelessly against him, trying to get more, more of everything that Xaven was doing. He was driving her crazy inside with lust just by being there. She had no idea how she could bear actually being fucked by him.

"You're so tight," Xaven groaned. "Fuck, your pussy feels so good."

Eleya closed her eyes in pleasure, loving the sensation of being filled to the brink when Xaven thrust himself completely inside her with a grunt. He gave her a moment to adjust to the feel and girth of his cock, pressing a calming kiss on her back.

Then the warrior pulled back and slammed himself into her again, and again.

  Eleya screamed.

Xaven began fucking her with the same merciless passion he'd fought her with. Every thrust hit right against her core, sending vibrating, hot waves of pleasure rocking through Eleya's body. She clung to the sheets to hold on to something because it sure felt like she was being split in two.

"Take me," she gasped. "Xaven! Good – so good..."

Getting even a single word out was a chore and an effort. Language deserted her, turning her mind into a mess of emotions and sensations and mind-blowing pleasure. Xaven slammed into her with punishing thrusts, his hips knocking against hers so hard Eleya screamed.

It was everything she'd ever wanted. The feel of a true man inside her, taking her, making her his own. She loved his power, his strength, the way Xaven held her against him without any effort, moving her exactly where he wanted to. Eleya moaned when Xaven bent over her to grope her breasts, feeling his cock throb inside her.

He filled every inch of her pussy. Eleya could feel her body being stretched to its limits every time Xaven pulled almost out of her to thrust back in with force. The heat that washed over her was so searing Eleya could hardly breathe.

She tried to keep up with the pace Xaven had set, but it was hopeless and a part of her liked it. Her gerion fucked her like he wanted to make sure no other man remained in her memory and true to that, they were fading from Eleya's mind.

It felt like she was being fucked for the first time, every sensation new and overwhelming and the cock inside her so big she had to struggle to take it.

"You're so fucking hot," Xaven growled behind her, his hands slipping on her ass, riding her to ecstasy. "Mine. You're all mine!"

"Yours!" Eleya cried. "Fuck, fuck yes! I'm yours! Xaven!"

The pleasure was so intense it threatened to bury her under the heat and the desire and the ache that ran so deep inside her that it surprised Eleya.

She couldn't remember ever wanting anyone that much, yearning for Xaven like his nearness was air to her. The captain's hard, brutal thrusts rocked Eleya's body to the core and she loved every second of it.

"I want to see you," she gasped. "When you claim me, I want to look into your eyes and know that we belong to each other..."

Xaven groaned, pulling out of her. Eleya yelped when the warrior flipped her around again, thrusting back into her the second her back hit the sheets. She cried out in pleasure, pulling the warrior on top of her.

His weight was nice and warm above her, keeping her writhing body in place on the bed. Eleya spread her legs wider for him, wrapping them around Xaven's waist and letting the warrior pound into her.

The bed creaked under them, the evidence of how passionate their bonding was. It wasn't what Eleya had expected and it frightened her a little. To ache for someone like that, to need them posed a danger that she hadn't thought she was ready for, but nothing in the world could have made her stop.

"You're the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen," Xaven said, his deep voice heavy with lust.

He ran his hands over Eleya's body, groping her breasts before sliding up to her hands and pinning them next to her head. The captain kissed her neck, never easing up on the grueling rhythm he'd chosen.

Eleya moaned, arching off the sheets to meet every thrust better. Not that Xaven needed any help. He hit the spot of pleasure in her with precision that was quickly robbing Eleya of all sense and all of her precious control.

She could feel words coming to her lips that she would never have spoken in any other situation. Thoughts that came from somewhere deep inside her popped into her mind and drove Eleya crazy with desire.

"Harder," Eleya ordered, but it came out sounding more like a plea.

"As you wish," Xaven replied with a strained grin, showing that he wasn't nearly as blasé about it all he pretended to be.

Eleya screamed when the captain adjusted himself, thrusting into her at a new angle, supporting his weight on his hands to drive into her with a pace that brought back some of the pain. Eleya moaned, far beyond caring about anything like that. Every nerve ending in her body was alight with fire, burning for him as he burned for her.

"Cum inside me," she moaned, meeting the warrior's gaze. "I want to see your big cock slamming into me, to feel your hot cum filling me..."

Xaven groaned, leaning down to capture her lips in a wild, biting kiss.

"I will," he promised. "That tight pussy is mine now, only mine. I will fuck you every night if you want me to. Do you want that?

"Do you want to call for me in the middle of one of your boring Senate sessions? To slip out of the room and let me pound you into the wall while they wait for you? Do you want me to make you scream so loudly every soul in the palace will hear?"

Eleya was lost. She was adrift in her pleasure, gone so far over the edge of reason she didn't see a way back.

"Yes," she moaned. "Yes, that's what I want! Take me, take me so hard I cum screaming your name."

Xaven said nothing to that. His deep dark blue eyes shone above her as the warrior fucked her into the mattress, making every bone in her body shake as he thrust balls deep into her. Eleya whimpered, her voice too broken to say anything else.

She only wanted him, wanted the warrior to claim her until there was no doubt about their bond. The need to belong was growing inside her, appearing out of the blue. When it arrived, it was all Eleya could feel.

She needed Xaven in a way she couldn't describe. The fucking was only a part of the bond – and she wanted all of him.

The change of pace was working and Eleya was quickly losing her mind. The heat building toward her orgasm was ripping through her. She cried out when the first waves started gently washing over her before the storm of ecstasy hit.

"Xaven!" she cried, trembling under his big body.

The warrior kissed her, hard and unyielding and loving despite the brutality of it. Eleya could only respond, trying to hold on to the reality when she cummed. Her body tensed up from toe to tip, pleasure running wild in her body as her pussy clamped down on Xaven's huge cock inside her.

"My gesha," Xaven grunted, following her over
the edge.

She could feel his cock throbbing in her pussy, spilling his hot seed into her. The sensation was so good it triggered another shock wave inside her. Eleya cried out as she kept coming, Xaven's merciless thrusts never easing up before they both laid spent on the bed, kissing each other lazily.

The smile on her lips refused to leave. When Xaven let go of her hands, Eleya ran them soothingly over his muscled, flawless body. The climax she'd just experienced was the most intense in her life, but the emotion that overwhelmed her was something else altogether.

  She was happy.

It hadn't happened to her in a while. Ever since she was forced to leave her flagship, Eleya had been content at best. Nothing had gotten a reaction above restrained pleasure out of her, but Xaven had changed that.

The warrior rolled off her, pulling out of her ravaged body gently, lying down next to her and running his fingers gently down her body.

"How's that heart of yours?" he asked, observing her with a knowing grin.

Eleya laughed softly, nodding, knowing she'd been wrong in her prediction.

"Better," she said. "I know I said it would never beat for you, but I can definitely feel some. This is a good first try, but you're going to have to do better to win it completely."

  Xaven chuckled, kissing her again.

"What kind of a Brion would I be if I didn't like challenges? You're on. I will make your heart mine, no matter what it takes."

The task proved to be more difficult than he'd imagined.

Traditionally, the bonding was the moment where a fated couple came together and stayed together. It was supposed to be culmination of their desire and love for each other, the peak of happiness that they could start building their life from.

Xaven was ready to admit that it would not work like that for him and Eleya, given that they didn't know each other very well yet.

The facts of the matter were different. Next morning, when he went in for a kiss, Eleya was back to being the ice queen that she was. She no longer pulled away or stopped him from approaching her, but it was hard to believe it was the same woman who'd cried out his name last night.

"Did something happen?" Xaven asked, taking a seat opposite of Eleya.

There was breakfast laid out on the table in the High Senator's dining room. In the midst of the plates and chalices lay at least a dozen different tablets, all glowing, some beeping. Eleya's attention seemed entirely devoted to them.

His gesha gave him a quick look and a soft smile before returning to her work.

"Not particularly," she said. "The Union is going through some tough times, but that has always been the case. I don't think there will be a peaceful year as long as it exists. It's simply too big, there are too many quarrels and feuds, too many logistical issues to deal with and too many mouths to feed.

"I keep telling them this, but they don't listen."

Xaven watched Eleya type something into the nearest tablet and observe it with interest, clearly waiting for a response.

"I meant, did something happen to us?" he asked.

  Eleya looked up, surprised.

"No," she said, shaking her head. "Why would you ask that? I will join you for breakfast in a minute, I just need a moment to make sure our trade agreements are in order with the Union. The new harvest world is messing up the schedules."

Xaven said nothing to that. He poured himself some wine and waited while Eleya gradually shut off all the tablets and started eating.

The High Senator's eyes were wary as she looked at him.

"What did you mean by that?" she asked, cocking her head to the side slightly. "I thought we were fine. The bonding went well."

  Well. It went well?

"I thought it went better than that," Xaven said. "I was looking forward to waking up with you in my arms, maybe taking you before we started the day."

Eleya's lips curled into a smirk before she shrugged and replied:

"That would have been an interesting option, but I have responsibilities. I wake up very early and see through all the damage the galaxy has done overnight. Then I am free to deal with everything else during the day."

"That's fine," Xaven said. "You are the High Senator."

  "Unfortunately, yes," Eleya said, smiling.

It was odd. She looked at ease, much more so than when Xaven had first met her, but there was still something missing from the carefree woman she'd been the night before.

It felt like the morning had reset her, with only minor improvements to their relationship.

"We should talk about you," Eleya continued, lifting some fruits on her plate. "Now that you are no longer technically in the armies, what would you like to do? As the High Senator, I can tell you which positions are open and which are weak –"

"I think I can manage that without your help," Xaven said, more sharply than he'd intended, correcting as soon as he saw the look on Eleya's face. "I will not have my gesha find me a title that I wouldn't win myself."

It had gotten considerably colder at the other end of the table.

"That is not what I had in mind," Eleya said, her tone a lot less cheerful than before. "I was going to suggest something. It's my job, among a thousand other things, to make sure that the most capable people are put in a position where their talents aren't wasted.

"You are one of the best fighters I've ever seen. I think you deserve a recognition for that and Brions deserve you doing your duty for them."

The praise didn't gladden Xaven as much as it should have.

"What did you have in mind, then?" he asked.

Eleya set her cup on the table and regarded him with a look that was borderline upset.

"That is what I asked you," she said. "I don't understand why you're defensive. You're a capable warrior, a naturally talented one. I thought you would be jumping at every opportunity."

  Xaven nodded.

"I could," he admitted. "I know I could be a general on any ship."

  "Not any," Eleya said.

"No?" Xaven asked, now feeling the burn of anger in his veins as well.

He had no idea how the conversation had gone south so quickly.

"No," Eleya replied firmly. "Some. Not most. Definitely not any of them."

"You haven't seen what I am capable of when I really fight," Xaven said tersely. "The duel we had was a match of skill. The stakes did not include my life. In a duel for the position of a general, where my opponent is bound to kill me if I don't kill them first, it's different."

Eleya's gorgeous blue eyes were now glaring daggers at him for sure.

"Having been one myself, I would naturally have no idea that's how it is," she said darkly. "Of course a fight to the death is different. Don't insult me. I was a general. I have met every general Brions have had in the last ten years and seen all of them fight. When I tell you my opinion, you do not get to discredit that because your pride is wounded."

That was true. At the back of his mind, Xaven knew that Eleya had a point, just like he was certain that she knew a Brion warrior wouldn't sit and listen to being chided like a child.

"I will not challenge a general to a duel to prove you wrong," he said instead. "As I told you, I have no interest in being one."

Eleya's eyes flickered to Briolina, visible from the balcony a few feet from them. The planet glowed in the morning light, as gorgeous as ever. It made Xaven pull back a little. Every Brion had a natural connection to their home world, a protectiveness that couldn't be denied or fought.

He was about to say something, anything to make things up with Eleya.

"I meant it, you know," she said. "About wishing our lives were reversed. I would give anything to be a general again."

As soon as the words came out of Xaven's mouth, he knew that he was messing up everything he'd won the day before.

"You need to let it go," he said.

Eleya's gaze snapped back to him, fast as lighting. The look there was so furiou
s Xaven didn't rule out the possibility that she would fetch her spear and duel him for real.

That was never going to happen. The bond was made whole between them. Even being mad, even disagreeing with Eleya, Xaven would still have died for her. Eleya was his gesha, his true heart and there was nothing in the galaxy that could have made him let go of her. Which made what followed so hard to bear.

"Let go of the one thing that made me who I am?" Eleya asked. "All I ever wanted was to be a general. It was what I was born to be."

"Maybe," Xaven allowed. "But you're not one anymore. The Elders in their wisdom decided that you were better suited for the position you have now, and your fellow generals agreed."

"Of course they agreed," Eleya said through gritted teeth. "It's easier for them to deal with me, but the main reason they agreed was that they were all more relieved than they'd ever been in their lives that it wasn't them."

"That may be," Xaven said. "It changes nothing. You are not going to go back. And you just told me that talented people need to serve Briolina and our people where they are needed. You are needed here. That means you need to let go."

  "No," Eleya said.

  Eleya

The next few weeks were tense between Eleya and her gerion.

After the first fight, they had wordlessly agreed to disagree and carried on with their lives. That had the unfortunate side-effect of feeling like they were two strangers living together instead of being a fated couple.

It was a deadlock, but it had its moments of pleasure – and surprise.

The realization was bitter for Eleya when Xaven returned the night after their fight with a small package that he took to the bathroom. When Eleya followed him, curious, the warrior was already undressing.

"Come," he called her, pointing to the bath in the corner.

Hot water was already pouring into the tub.
